Janitorial & Facility Cleaner

Location: Mantachie, MS
Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Overtime may be required until 3:30 PM.
• Occasional Saturday work may be required based on production needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Janitorial & Facility Cleaners to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout our office spaces and manufacturing facility. This position is essential to ensuring employees have a sanitary workplace and that production areas remain clean and free of debris throughout the day.

The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, works well independently, and is comfortable performing physical tasks in both office and industrial settings.

Essential Job Duties

Office Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize restrooms throughout the day, with additional attention following employee breaks and lunch periods.
• Maintain breakrooms, offices, hallways, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Restock restroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
• Organize and replenish janitorial supplies as needed.
• Help maintain a clean, professional appearance throughout the office.

Manufacturing Facility Cleaning

• Sweep production floors continuously to remove dust and debris.
• Clean equipment and surrounding work areas.
• Collect and dispose of cardboard, packaging materials, and other production waste.
• Empty trash containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Organize production areas by stacking pallets, arranging materials, and keeping walkways clear.
• Assist with facility cleaning projects and preparation for inspections or company events.
• Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, custodial, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and cleaning for extended periods in both office and manufacturing environments.
