What You'll Do

• Perform FCAW (Flux Core), MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on structural steel, pipe, and metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings.
• Fit, align, and assemble components prior to welding.
• Operate fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, press brakes, and other shop machinery.
• Measure and inspect materials using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Assist with rigging and safely move materials using cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Flux Core Welder, Structural Fitter, or similar position required.
• Strong FCAW welding skills; experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with structural steel, pipe fitting, or ductwork is a plus.
• Basic math and measuring skills.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment.
