SGA Youth and Family Services is seeking a dedicated Research Consultant to join our team in Chicago. This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful research that drives our mission in the non-profit sector. As a Research Consultant, you will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data that informs our program development and evaluation efforts. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to deliver insights that help us better understand community needs and improve our services. With a competitive salary range of $28,000 - $33,000 annually, SGA values both your skills and the positive change they bring to our organization.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive research to support program development and evaluation
Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to derive actionable insights
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders
Collaborate with team members on research initiatives
Assist in designing surveys and data collection instruments
Monitor trends and changes in community needs
Present findings in a clear and effective manner
Support grant writing and funding proposals with relevant data

Requirements

Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Sciences, Research Methods)
Experience in research or data analysis, preferably in a non-profit setting
Proficient in statistical analysis tools and software
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work effectively within a team
Familiarity with community outreach and engagement processes
Passion for supporting youth and families within the community
