. This full-time, on-site role offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a dynamic medical practice environment, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality radiological services to our patients.

As a key member of the radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and interpreting results to provide accurate assessments that aid in patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of medical care we provide, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
  • Interpret radiological images and provide accurate reports
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine patient care plans
  • Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions related to imaging
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical technologies
  • Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
  • Contribute to departmental meetings and case discussions

Requirements

  • MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree
  • Valid medical license to practice radiology in the state of New York
  • Experience in diagnostic radiology preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and ethics in medical practice
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Backup Call: 1:6 rotation, nights and weekends

Setting: Onsite

Daily Volume: 100 reads on average

Case Mix: 50% breast imaging, 50% general diagnostic

Procedures: Breast biopsies

Will accept new graduates

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
