 This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic medical practice environment where you will contribute to the health and well-being of our patients through expert cancer care.

As an Oncologist , you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with cancer, utilizing the latest medical advances and technologies. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to their individual needs. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnostics for oncology patients
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs
  • Administer chemotherapy and other cancer therapies
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as necessary
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses and treatment options
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in oncology
  • Participate in clinical trials and research as appropriate

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of residency in internal medicine and fellowship in oncology
  • Board certification or eligibility in medical oncology
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in cancer management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate patient care with a focus on quality outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Rotating call shifts

Setting: Outpatient with inpatient call

2 infusion clinics

Case Types: 60-70% oncology and 30-40% hematology

Participate in tumor boards

Current Team: 3 MDs and 2 APPs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
