**Position Overview:**
**Job Type:** Locum to Permanent
**Specialty:** Non-Interventional Cardiology
**Coverage Dates:** Starting September 12 - Ongoing
**Schedule:** Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; primarily outpatient clinic with inpatient consult responsibilities. The role includes readings of cardiac tests, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, and EKGs.
**Call Coverage:** Yes
**Call Type:** Beeper/Phone Call
**Call Ratio:** 10 days per month for after-hours office calls and ER-related phone consultations.
**Average Call Back Hours:** Minimal (zero expected).
**Provider Needs:** 1 provider is required, though multiple providers may be considered for flexibility while prioritizing consistency.
**Practice Settings:** - Clinic - Outpatient/Hospital-Based
**Leadership Role:** Collaboration with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) is expected.
**Patient Demographics:** Predominantly adults (age 18 and above).
**Patient Volume:** - Outpatient: 90% - Inpatient: 10%
**Average Daily Patients:** - Hospital Consultations: 2-3 per day
- Clinic Patients: 16-20 per day
**Facility Classification:** Not designated as a Trauma Center.
**Key Responsibilities and Competencies:**
- Interpretation and management of cardiac diagnostics including Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs), loop recorders, echocardiograms, stress tests, EKGs, tilt table tests, and event monitors.
- Management of Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs) and pacemakers.

**Credentialing Information:**

- **Temporary Credentialing:** Available
**Shift Details:**
- Regular hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Night Call: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
**Mandatory Qualifications:** - Board Certification in General Cardiology (Required)
- Active Ohio Medical License (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required)
**Certification and License Requirements:** - BLS Certification
- Board Certification - License to practice in Ohio
