**Job Details:**
- **Shift Coverage:** Monday to Friday, consisting of 8 hours dedicated to patient care, with up to 6 hours allocated for clinic duties, including night call responsibilities.
- **Weekend Call:** 24-hour call coverage required. -
**Duration:** Position commencement in August, projected to conclude by December 31, 2026.
- **Patient Volume:** Outpatient load of 6-8 patients per day with an average of 1.5 deliveries per day.
- **Support Staff:** Collaboration with 2 Nurse Practitioners.
- **EHR System:** Utilization of Cerner for electronic health records.
**Clinical Skills and Procedures Required:**

Comprehensive prenatal care - Proficient in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (C-sections)
- Experience with vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)
**Shift Description:**
- Clinic hours range from 2 to 4 hours daily, with an additional 24-hour call coverage (2 hours considered gratis).
**On Call Requirements:**
- Night call and 24-hour call responsibilities, with the first 2 hours considered gratis.
**Qualifications:**
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN).
- Active Michigan medical license. - A minimum of 2 years clinical experience in OB/GYN.
- Preference for local candidates.
- **Provider credentials:** NPDB check must be completed within the last 30 days.
