**Position Overview: Family Medicine Physician Assistant (PA)**

- **Language Requirement**: Bilingual in Spanish; candidate must be able to communicate with patients of all ages.

- **Coverage Justification**: Addressing staffing shortages in the clinic.  

- **Expected Coverage Duration**: Immediate start, continuing through March 2027.  

- **Practice Environment**: Outpatient clinic setting. 

- **Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a required half-day shift on one Saturday per month (8:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and a corresponding weekday off.

- **Clinical Duties**: Responsible for primary care outpatient services, including management of cold/flu cases and family medicine consultations, accommodating same-day appointment requests.  

- **On-Call Duties**: No on-call responsibilities.  

- **Patient Volume**: Average of 20-24 patients per day.  

- **Electronic Medical Records System**: Utilization of EPIC

- **Credentialing Timeline**: Approximately 90 days from the submission of application materials.  

- **Required Certification**: Board Certified in Family Medicine.  

- **Licensing Candidates**: Only currently licensed candidates will be considered; new graduates or temporary licenses will not be accepted.
