**Position Overview:**

**Potential Location:** There may be a requirement to float to the San Jose clinic, although initial assignments will be local.
- **Coverage Duration:** Start date is as soon as possible, pending credentialing, with an expectation to cover through the end of the year and potentially longer.
- **Work Environment:** Outpatient Clinic setting.
- **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- **On-Call Requirements:** No on-call responsibilities.
- **Clinical Duties:** Responsibilities will primarily involve gynecological procedures such as Pap smears and cervical cancer screenings. Candidates must have obstetric experience to conduct well-woman visits, including prenatal care.
- **Patient Volume:** Anticipated patient load is approximately 12 patients per 4-hour block, with 24 scheduled across an 8-hour day, though actual patient encounters typically range from 21 to 22 per shift.
- **Electronic Medical Records (EMR):** The clinic utilizes EPIC for patient management.
- **Credentialing Process:** Estimated to take around 60 days from the submission of the application.
- **Required Certifications:** Candidates must be Board Certified and possess a BLS certification from the American Heart Association. A valid California medical license is mandatory.
