In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for a diverse patient population. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations of patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Document patient assessments and treatment plans accurately
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care strategies
  • Remain current with best practices in psychiatric care

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant license
  • Experience in psychiatric or mental health settings preferred
  • Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations in psychiatric care
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development
  • Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and treatment plans

Schedule: Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8:30a-5p

No call or weekends

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Population: Ages 65+

Duties: Follow-up assessments and medication management

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
