Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Conduct patient follow-ups and monitor treatment progress
- Educate patients on health management and prevention strategies
- Participate in patient care team meetings and case discussions
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary interventions
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field
- Current NP or PA license in the state
- Experience in a hospitalist setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workflows
- Level II Trauma Center
Schedule: 12-hour day and night shifts
Daily Volume: 3-15 patients
Patient Population: Adult & geriatric
Responsibilities: Admissions and rounding
3 admin support staff onsite
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
Paid travel and expenses
