 This contract position requires on-site availability and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in patient care within the Medical Practice industry.

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide critical care services to patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care. Your expertise will help us achieve efficiency and excellence in our critical care protocols, directly influencing patient outcomes and overall health management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality medical assessments and treatments to critical care patients
• Collaborate with attending physicians and healthcare teams
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Perform procedures as needed and within scope of practice
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about their health conditions and treatments
• Participate in case reviews and risk management initiatives
• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory medical guidelines

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of Florida
• Experience in critical care or similar medical environments preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced situations
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule: Night shifts, specific dates

No call required

Procedures: Intubations, central lines, arterial lines

Volume: 20-22 ICU patients

EMR: MediTech

Must be board-certified

ACLS required
