Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
  • Collaborate with physician teams to develop treatment plans
  • Conduct physical exams and assess patient conditions
  • Implement and monitor treatment plans and outcomes
  • Document patient care activities in accordance with regulations
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate patients and families on health management
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to patient care decisions

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • 2+ years of experience in critical care or related field
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of critical care protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Schedule: 7p-7a, 3-5 shifts in a row

7-bed closed ICU

Patient Volume: 5-7 per shift

Duties: Central lines, arterial lines, vent management, admissions, and ED consults

No intubations required

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
