 This contract position is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional looking to make a tangible impact in the field of medical practice, specifically in radiology. As a locum physician, you will be vital in ensuring high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to provide accurate interpretations of medical images, collaborate with healthcare teams, and contribute to patient management strategies. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
• Interpret medical images and generate comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate imaging techniques
• Provide consultation and recommendations based on imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient information
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care
• Stay current with advancements in radiology practices and technologies

Requirements

• MD degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of residency in Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging technologies and techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Level I Trauma

Schedule: 7- and 8-hour day, night, and swing shifts available

Will read for multiple facilities

Case Volume: 7-9 wRVUs per hour

Case Types: Emergency diagnostic

EMR: Epic

PACS: Sectra/Powerscribe One

Must be board-certified
