As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients using state-of-the-art imaging technology. This on-site position requires collaboration with other medical professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and to help streamline the overall treatment process.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and interpret results
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to determine patient treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Provide consultative support to referring physicians
- Stay updated on the latest radiology practices and technologies
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree with residency in Radiology
- State medical license in good standing
- Associate-level experience in a Radiology setting
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray)
- Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
