As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and interpreting medical imaging, ensuring accurate results that impact patient treatment plans. Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret various imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement diagnostic protocols
  • Communicate findings clearly to referring physicians
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation
  • Stay updated on the latest radiological technologies and procedures
  • Provide education and training to residents and medical students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in Radiology
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience as a radiologist
  • Proficiency in advanced imaging techniques and interpretations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Schedule: 7 on/7 off

Setting: Remote

Emergency department and inpatient caseload

Case Volume: 7 per hour

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
