Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospital patients
- Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Manage discharges and coordinate follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in continuous professional development and training
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
Requirements
- Current medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice for MD
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner for NP candidates
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
