Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient care for hospital patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans
  • Manage discharges and coordinate follow-up care
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Participate in continuous professional development and training
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation

Requirements

  • Current medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice for MD
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner for NP candidates
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Hospital's Average Census: 40

2-4 admits per day

Support Staff: MD, NP

Must be board-certified

DEA required
