 This contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to provide tele-health services within the realm of medical practice, ensuring accessible healthcare to patients in need.

As a Locum MD in Endocrinology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This position allows for flexibility and direct impact on patient health, while contributing to the broader goals of our practice.

 

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tele-health consultations for patients with endocrine disorders
  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as diabetes, thyroid issues, and hormonal imbalances
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design effective treatment plans
  • Maintain up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with medical standards
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions
  • Participate in case reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Respond promptly to patient queries and follow up on treatment regimens
  • Adhere to ethical standards and best practices in all tele-health activities

Requirements

  • MD degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of residency in Endocrinology
  • Associate-level experience in medical practice, preferably in endocrinology
  • Strong communication and patient rapport-building skills
  • Proficiency in tele-health technologies and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Current medical license and board certification in Endocrinology

Flexible Schedule: 10-12 hours per week

No call required

Setting: 100% Remote

Case Types: Bread and butter endo cases, testosterone therapy, ED, hair loss, general wellness, diabetes, and mostly controlled substances

New Patient Appointments: 15-30 minutes

DEA required

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
