 This contract position requires an on-site presence, offering an exciting opportunity to provide quality care and support to our diverse patient population in the Medical Practice industry.

As a Locum MD, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating disorders related to hormones and metabolism. Your role will be vital in managing patient care, conducting examinations, and developing treatment plans that align with our commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Remote endocrinology locum tenens coverage in New Hampshire and Vermont.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat patients with endocrine disorders
  • Conduct patient examinations and assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide patient education on endocrine health and wellness
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Stay updated with advancements in endocrinology and medical practices
  • Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree with a specialization in Endocrinology
  • Active medical license to practice in the state
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Previous experience in a medical practice setting is preferred

Flexible Schedule: 10-12 hours per week

No call required

Setting: 100% Remote

Case Types: Bread and butter endo cases, testosterone therapy, ED, hair loss, general wellness, diabetes, and mostly controlled substances

New Patient Appointments: 15-30 minutes

DEA required

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
