 This contract position offers an on-site opportunity for a medical professional to contribute to patient care in a dynamic medical practice environment.

As a Locum Vascular Surgeon, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality surgical interventions and patient management. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for patients with vascular conditions. Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular surgeries and procedures in adherence to established protocols
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations for patients
  • Collaborate with surgical and medical staff to optimize patient care
  • Manage post-operative care and follow-up for vascular patients
  • Document patient progress and surgical outcomes thoroughly
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in vascular surgery techniques
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their conditions and treatments

Requirements

  • Valid MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Associate-level experience in Vascular Surgery is preferred
  • Current Board Certification or eligibility in General Surgery
  • Strong clinical diagnostic and procedural skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
  • Current state medical license to practice in South Carolina

Schedule: 24-hour call (8a-8a), specific dates

Daily Volume: 10 patients

EMR: eCW

Support Staff: APP

Must be board-certified
