As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services that assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic imaging exams including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and treatment plans
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of radiological tests
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review processes
- Stay current with advancements in radiology and imaging technology
- Assist in educating medical staff and trainees on imaging techniques and best practices
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive patient experience
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Current board certification in Radiology
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in radiology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using imaging software and technology
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Schedule: 8a-4:30p or 12p-8p
Weekend Call Shifts: 8a-6p
Total Annual Volume: ~165K studies
Modalities: DX, US, CT, MRI/MR, and fluoroscopy
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
