 This contract position offers a unique chance to provide essential diagnostic services in a fast-paced medical practice environment.

As a Locum Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering timely and accurate imaging interpretations that are vital for patient care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of radiological services. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
  • Interpret radiological images and provide accurate reports
  • Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and recommendations
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case discussions
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality assurance standards
  • Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and practices
  • Provide guidance and support to medical staff regarding imaging protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and imaging results

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of residency training in Radiology
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state
  • Strong knowledge of radiological techniques and safety standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care

Schedule: 4-5 days per week

Average Annual: ~4,363 wRVUs and ~1K procedures

Daily Volume: 20-25 diagnostic reads, 4-5 procedures

Case Types: Diagnostics, biopsies, and screenings

Required Procedures: Breast biopsies (US + vacuum-assisted), needle localization, and axillary ultrasound work

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel and expenses
