This contract position provides an excellent opportunity for an associate-level physician to work on-site in a dynamic medical practice environment.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality radiological services to our diverse patient population. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnostics and treatment planning, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a variety of imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and treatment plans
- Ensure quality control of radiological equipment and procedures
- Provide clear and concise reports of imaging findings
- Stay updated on advances in radiology and integrate new techniques as needed
- Participate in departmental meetings and clinical audits
- Provide excellent patient care and address any patient concerns
- Adhere to medical regulations and ethical standards in practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Radiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state
- Strong clinical skills and experience in diagnostic imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
- Experience working in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-4p
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 120–150 studies and 1–2 procedures
Case Types: General Diagnostic Radiology
Required Procedures: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, stereotactic breast biopsies, and other image-guided biopsies
Modalities: CT, MRI, US, X-ray, DEXA, mammography, fluoroscopy, and nuclear medicine
EMR: Epic
PACS: Synapse
Voice Recognition: PowerScribe One
Must be board-certified
