This on-site, contract position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a collaborative environment within the medical practice industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various psychiatric conditions. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in developing patient-centered treatment plans and ensuring the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications as needed
- Provide therapy and counseling to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Stay current on advancements in psychiatric treatments and medications
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in psychiatry as a resident or associate physician
- Strong understanding of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Willingness to stay updated with continuing medical education
Schedule: Monday-Wednesday, 9a-5p
1:4 call rotation
Setting: Outpatient
Daily Volume: 10-16 patients
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
Paid travel and expenses
