As a Locum Otolaryngologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders. You will work alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care and contributing to our commitment to excellence in the medical field.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and manage various OTOLARYNGOLOGY-related disorders.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients on treatment options and preventive care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in Otolaryngology.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Board certification or eligibility in Otolaryngology.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Otolaryngology procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Level I Trauma
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
Beeper call shifts available
Patient Census: 20 per day
Skills: General ENT (surgical & non-surgical), endo procedures, tracheotomy, general and complex head and neck
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
