As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will be responsible for managing and providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on best practices
- Manage labor and delivery processes effectively
- Perform gynecological surgeries as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in Indiana
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team
- Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Call Requirement: 24-hour in-house call
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: 2-3 post-op/GYN patients, 2-3 L&D patients, and 0-1 inpatient/ER GYN consults
Must be board-certified
