As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will be responsible for managing and providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on best practices
• Manage labor and delivery processes effectively
• Perform gynecological surgeries as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Current medical license to practice in Indiana
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team
• Commitment to continuing education and professional growth

Schedule: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Call Requirement: 24-hour in-house call

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Volume: 2-3 post-op/GYN patients, 2-3 L&D patients, and 0-1 inpatient/ER GYN consults

Must be board-certified
