Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care to patients
  • Conduct routine exams, assessments, and screenings
  • Manage labor and delivery procedures
  • Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate medical interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
  • Educate patients on women's health issues and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records
  • Stay up to date with the latest medical guidelines and best practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with a valid medical license
  • Experience in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Strong clinical skills and patient-focused care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
  • American Board Certification in Ob/Gyn is preferred

Schedule: 24-hour clinic & call shifts, 7a-7a

Daily Callbacks: <5

Annual Volume: 400 deliveries

Duties: Clinic, L&D, inpatient rounding, and ER coverage

Required Procedures: Operative vaginal and cesarean delivery, management of postpartum complications, D&C, ectopic management, etc.

Support Staff: CNM, MFM, APPs, MDs, and additional subspecialty support

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified
