 This entry-level, contract position offers a unique opportunity to work on-site in a supportive environment where you can make a significant impact on women's health.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients, performing routine check-ups, and managing various obstetric and gynecological conditions. You'll collaborate closely with experienced healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and contribute to better health outcomes within the community. This role is vital in addressing the healthcare needs of women and enhancing their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Conduct routine examinations and assessments
• Diagnose and manage a variety of health conditions
• Perform necessary medical procedures
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Assist in patient education and counseling
• Participate in workshops and training to enhance skills

Requirements

• MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree
• Valid medical license to practice in the state
• Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong commitment to patient care and service
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 8a-8a

Setting: Inpatient

Delivery Volume: 23-30 per month

Duties: Deliveries, C-sections, and ED call coverage for OB/GYN-related issues

Support Staff: Anesthesiologists, General Surgeons, OB/GYNs, Family Medicine OB, Pediatrician, and Respiratory Therapists

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
