As a Locum Neurologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological conditions while working closely with a team of healthcare professionals. This position allows you to engage with patients and make meaningful contributions to their health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients with neurological disorders
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various neurological conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in neurology
- Provide consultations and ongoing care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on neurological health and treatments
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team initiatives
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- State medical license to practice in a clinical capacity
- Residency training in Neurology
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in neurology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred

Setting: Hospital and rehab
Support Staff: Nursing staff and techs
Duties: Inpatient call, consults, rounding, stroke alerts, and reading EEGs
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
Basic life support certification required
