As a Locum Hospitalist, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, managing their treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality inpatient care to hospitalized patients
  • Collaborate with consulting services and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when necessary
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
  • Follow evidence-based guidelines and protocols in patient care

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Active medical license in the state of Colorado
  • Familiarity with hospitalist medicine and internal medicine
  • Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration
  • Previous experience in a hospitalist role is preferred
  • Level IV Trauma

Schedule: 7a-7p, 12p-12a, 5p-5a, or 7p-7a

No call requirement

Daily Volume: 15-16 patients, 12-16 admissions

Total Daily Census: 65-70 patients

No procedures required

Strong clinical support

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
