As a Hospitalist, you will be integral in managing patient care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring optimal treatment outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Perform diagnostic assessments and evaluations
- Monitor and manage patient progress throughout hospital stay
- Educate patients and families on health management
- Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and quality standards
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with valid license to practice
- Experience in Internal Medicine or related field
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS
Level I Trauma
Schedule: 12-hour day or night shifts
No call requirement
~520 beds
Patient Volume: 18-22 per day
Support Staff: Additional MDs, APPs
Must be board certified
