Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient care to hospitalized patients
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records
- Participate in daily rounds and patient care conferences
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions effectively
- Educate patients and families on health management and wellness
- Provide mentorship and guidance to medical staff as required
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Valid medical license in the state of practice
- Experience in hospital medicine or a related field
- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications
