As a Locum Cardiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various cardiovascular diseases, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Provide ongoing outpatient care and follow-up for cardiology patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and implement best practices

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Cardiology or eligible for board certification
• Valid medical license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Demonstrated compassion and understanding towards patients
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient cardiology settings preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p)

No call requirement

Setting: Outpatient

Patient Volume: 20 per day

Duties: Stress tests and stress echos

Support Staff: Scheduler, nurse, and rooming staff

Must be board-certified
