As a Locum Family Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in our practice, providing comprehensive medical services, preventive care, and health education. This role involves working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure that patients receive personalized and effective treatment. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of medical care while addressing various health concerns in our diverse patient population.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
  • Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about health management
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care
  • Participate in ongoing medical education and training

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Current medical license to practice in the state
  • Experience in Family Medicine or related field
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Proficient in EMR/EHR systems is a plus

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:30a-5:30p

No call or weekends required

Daily Volume: 14-16 patients

Patient Population: Adults

Duties: Provide primary care, including the evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions

Case Types: Chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid disorders.

Support Staff: Medical assistants

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
