Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive family medicine care to patients of all ages
- Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Manage chronic conditions and promote preventive health practices
- Perform routine medical procedures and diagnostics
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records
- Educate patients and families about health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of practice
- Associates level experience in Family Medicine
- Strong understanding of family medicine practice standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and clinical judgment abilities
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 7a-5p
185-bed hospital
Patient Volume: 15 per day, 2-4 admissions, 2-4 discharges
Patient Population: 100% adults
Required Skills: Non-invasive vent management
Preferred Skills: EKG interpretation, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
May supervise APPs or residents
Must be board-certified
