As a Locum Emergency Medicine Physician, you will be at the forefront of patient care, managing critical cases and working closely with medical teams to ensure the best outcomes. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients
• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and diagnoses
• Develop and implement patient management plans
• Perform necessary medical and minor surgical procedures
• Collaborate with nursing staff and specialists for patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions
• Follow emergency protocols and hospital policies

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in an emergency medicine setting preferred
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine or eligibility
• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• Valid medical license and DEA registration
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications

Schedule: 8a-8p and 8p-8a shifts

Annual Volume: 27,000 patients

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
