Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute medical conditions in an emergency setting
• Perform life-saving procedures as required
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care
• Document patient encounters comprehensively and accurately
• Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and practices
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed
• Assist in the training and supervision of medical students and residents

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Current board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Relevant clinical experience in an emergency setting
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Active medical license in the respective state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Schedule: 10-hour shifts
