As a Locum Critical Care MD/DO, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to manage critical conditions and contribute to patient recovery. This position is essential for maintaining the high standards of care that our facility is known for.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage critically ill patients in various settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to determine treatment plans
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment as necessary
  • Conduct rounds and ensure effective communication with medical staff
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care activities in compliance with hospital policies
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance initiatives
  • Stay updated with advancements in critical care practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Current board certification in Critical Care Medicine
  • Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in emergency or critical care settings is preferred
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development

Schedule: 7a-7p, 7 days on/7 days off

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 3-4/hour

EMR: Epic

 Must be board-certified
