Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Perform procedures as required in the critical care setting
• Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Participate in training and development of junior medical staff
• Engage in continuous professional development and education
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine preferred
• Licensure to practice medicine in Panama City
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices
• Previous experience in a critical care setting is advantageous

Schedule: 7a-7p, specific dates

No call required

Setting: 20-bed medical ICU

Vents and standard ICU procedures are required

Support Staff: APP

Must be board-certified or board-eligible

DEA required

Paid travel & expenses
