Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Perform procedures as required in the critical care setting
- Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes in their status
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families
- Participate in training and development of junior medical staff
- Engage in continuous professional development and education
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine preferred
- Licensure to practice medicine in Panama City
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices
- Previous experience in a critical care setting is advantageous
Schedule: 7a-7p, specific dates
No call required
Setting: 20-bed medical ICU
Vents and standard ICU procedures are required
Support Staff: APP
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
DEA required
