Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient care
  • Document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
  • Provide patient education on lifestyle changes and treatment options
  • Participate in clinical meetings and professional development activities
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in cardiology

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Relevant residency training in Cardiology
  • Current medical license in the state of Florida
  • Strong clinical skills and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional growth
  • Experience in a cardiology practice or similar setting is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Optional STEMI call coverage, 1:5 or 1:6 rotation

Setting: 2-3 days per week in the cath lab, 1.5 days per week in the clinic

Current Annual Case Volume: 100 TAVRs, 30 MitraClips, and 50 WATCHMAN

Caseload: 90% clinical, 10% administrative

Team Structure: 1 other structural heart physician, 9 interventional cardiologists, 1 structural heart fellow, and 3 interventional cardiology fellows

Full clinical and subspecialty support

EMR: Epic

Must have academic experience

Must be board-certified
