This contract position is an excellent opportunity for those looking to provide exceptional patient care within our medical practice. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will focus on delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care to our patients.

In this on-site role, you will engage in diagnosing and treating a variety of cardiac conditions, participating in patient consultations, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments and cardiovascular evaluations
  • Diagnose and manage a range of cardiac conditions
  • Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
  • Educate patients and families about cardiovascular health
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Stay updated on advancements in cardiology and medical practices

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Current medical license to practice in the state of California
  • Associate level experience in cardiology or related field
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and medical software
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development

Schedule: 7a-5p, 4-5 consecutive days

Overnight and weekend call, 1:4 rotation

Setting: Inpatient

Daily Census: 15-25 patients, ~ 6 consults

Testing: Echos and TEEs likely

Support Staff: Additional MD, APPs

EMR: Cerner

Board certification required

Paid travel & expenses
