As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a crucial role in the delivery of safe and effective anesthesia care across various procedures. Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vitals during procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia plans
• Evaluate patients pre-operatively and discuss anesthesia options
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and documentation
• Provide post-anesthesia care and assess recovery
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
• Educate patients and families on anesthesia-related topics

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with active medical license
• Experience in Anesthesiology, ideally within a hospital or surgical center
• Strong clinical and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5:30p

Call shifts available but not required

Level II Trauma

Facility: 500 beds, 19 ORs

Main Cases: Bread & butter, GI, ortho, & urology (some OB & cardiac)

Will work independently

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
