This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic medical practice focused on delivering high-quality anesthesiology services.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in administering anesthesia and providing comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs. You'll collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management, contributing significantly to the quality of patient outcomes and the overall success of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
- Provide post-anesthesia care and assess recovery
- Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards within the practice
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia or related field
- Current certification as a Nurse Anesthetist
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications
- Attention to detail and strong clinical judgment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Availability to work flexible hours as required
- Prior experience as a CRNA is preferred but not mandatory
Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday
Weeknight and weekend call
Shifts available at multiple hospitals
Skillsets Required: Spinal, regional, epidural, OB, neurosurgical spine, complex vascular (except open heart), complex orthopedics, vent management, central and arterial line insertion
Must be board-certified
