This on-site, contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work within our Anesthesiology department, contributing to patient care in a collaborative and innovative environment.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality anesthesia services to our diverse patient population. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient safety and comfort during surgical and procedural interventions, ensuring that we maintain our commitment to excellence in medical practice.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure a safe surgical environment
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Provide postoperative care and pain management consultation
- Educate patients on anesthesia and address any concerns
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records
- Adhere to all safety protocols and best practices in anesthesiology
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Nursing
- Active CRNA certification and licensure
- Previous experience in anesthesia practice is preferred
- Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications
- Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule: 7a-3p, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
Beeper Call: 3p-7a, every other night
2 ORs
Case Types: Bread & Butter, ortho, urology, endo, eyes, podiatry, pediatric ENT, OB, and blocks
Block Types: Adductor canal, TAP, iPack, interscalene, lower extremity/popliteal, and PECS
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
DEA, ACLS, BLS, NPR, and PALS required
