Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs throughout the surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
- Manage anesthesia equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia processes and care
- Respond to emergency situations and perform necessary interventions
- Document anesthesia care accurately in the medical records
Requirements
- Active CRNA certification and state licensure
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Experience in administering anesthesia in a clinical setting
- Solid understanding of anesthesia techniques and pharmacology
- Strong communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
Schedule: 7p-7a
Adult cases required, pediatric cases preferred
Required Skills: Spinal anesthesia, regional anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, neurosurgical cases, OB cases, complex orthopedic cases, and vent management
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
