Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Bartender to join our hospitality team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining an organized and hygienic bar area, providing excellent guest service, managing bar inventory, processing orders and payments, and ensuring compliance with hospitality, health, safety, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes, presentation standards, and guest preferences.
- Provide professional and friendly bar service to guests while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare cocktails, mocktails, specialty beverages, juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and other menu beverages.
- Take beverage orders accurately and process orders efficiently.
- Recommend beverages and provide knowledgeable information about available menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift.
- Set up the bar before service and complete closing procedures after service.
- Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure glassware, bar equipment, utensils, and workstations are clean and properly maintained.
- Follow company policies and applicable UAE hospitality and safety requirements.
- Support special events, banquets, functions, and high-volume service periods when required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or beverage service certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, cocktail preparation, mocktails, garnishes, glassware, and bar service.
- Knowledge of food and beverage hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
