Country Director

HRLadderBox on behalf of our client, we're looking for a commercially driven and strategic Country Director to take ownership of our Cyprus business. This is an opportunity to shape the direction of an established iGaming operation, identify new growth opportunities, and build a high-performing market strategy.

Your Impact

As Country Director, you will:

• Define and execute the long-term strategy for the Cyprus market.
• Take ownership and identify commercial opportunities that strengthen our market position and expand our customer base.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, CRM, VIP, Payments, Compliance, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Use market insights and performance data to make informed business decisions and optimise results.
• Ensure products, campaigns, and promotions reflect the needs and preferences of local customers.
• Represent the business with regulatory authorities, partners, and other external stakeholders.
• Stay ahead of market developments, competitor activity, and industry trends, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Foster collaboration across departments and provide clear direction to teams supporting the Cyprus market.
• Deliver regular business updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

What You'll Bring

• Mandatory experience within the iGaming or online betting industry.
• Mandatory previous experience managing a country, market, or business unit with commercial responsibility.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering business growth.
• Excellent understanding of the Cyprus gaming market and regulatory landscape.
• Strong analytical skills with confidence interpreting commercial and financial data.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions.
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to execution.
• Fluency in English; Greek would be considered an advantage.
