We are recruiting on behalf of a growing online sports betting and iGaming operator for an Assistant Compliance Officer to join its Compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced, highly regulated industry and support the company's compliance and AML functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Compliance Officer in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for submission to the National Betting Authority (NBA).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal departments—including Customer Support, Sportsbook, and Marketing—on day-to-day Compliance, AML, and regulatory matters.
  • Maintain and update internal policies, procedures, and manuals in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor local and international regulatory developments impacting the online betting industry.
  • Assist with the review and enhancement of the Company's AML Risk-Based Approach framework.
  • Review and update the Company's Terms & Conditions to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience in an AML or Compliance role, preferably within the online betting, iGaming, Forex, Brokerage, or EMI sectors.
  • Professional AML or Compliance certification (e.g., CySEC Advanced/AML, ICA, ACAMS, or AGRC) will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using AML/KYC screening tools, including PEP, sanctions, and adverse media screening platforms.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently under deadlines.

Benefits

  • Salary up to €2,000 gross per month.

  • The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
