Responsibilities

Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
Ensure student safety and compliance with bus policies
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment
Communicate effectively with students and school personnel
Monitor student behavior and address any issues promptly
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to supervisors
Adhere to local traffic laws and school district policies

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
Strong commitment to student safety and well-being
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage student behavior on the bus
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
